Certifications and attestations
At Vitevis, our dedication to our work is reflected in the certifications we receive from third-party organisations. We constantly strive to achieve and maintain certifiable standards of quality and safety to protect our consumers and food safety. This recognition not only attests to the quality and sustainability of our wines but also represents a hallmark both recognised and appreciated by our customers.

BRC (British Retail Consortium)
The British Retail Consortium (BRC) certification is a specific worldwide standard that assures agri-food product safety. Its goal is to ensure the quality and safety of food products offered to consumers by suppliers and large supermarket chains. It is an internationally recognised standard that promotes food safety along the whole supply chain.
IFS (International Food Standard)
IFS, the International Food Standard, is an international standard concerning the selection of food product suppliers. The IFS was developed by large supermarket chains in France, Germany and Italy as further guarantee for the quality and safety of food products and to adopt policies intended to safeguard the employee work in all the supply chain. It has also been widely adopted by the main Italian food trade associations, as it is a guarantee of quality in compliance with the increasingly restrictive regulations governing the agri-food sector.
SQNPI
The National Quality System of Integrated Production (SQNPI – Sistema di Qualità Nazionale di Produzione Integrata) aims to raise the profile of agricultural products which have been produced in compliance with the region’s integrated production regulations.
NOI COMPENSIAMO
Good Wines that are Good for the Earth. A project that aims to quantify, monitor and report on greenhouse gas emissions by increasing their removal.
The carbon credits, certified by a third party in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 14064-2 and -3 standards and the ICIM 0451CS SCPE GHG scheme, are derived from sustainable agronomic practices carried out by Vitevis’ winegrower members.
The ISO 14067 Carbon Footprint is an internationally validated certification of GHG emissions generated during the vineyard-to-wine supply chain, up to bottling.
BIO
Organic farming is a production method that requires a management system for the farm and the entire agri-food chain, based on the adoption of cultivation and processing techniques with reduced environmental impact by promoting biodiversity and safeguarding natural resources.
EQUALITAS
The Equalitas standard addresses sustainability achievements using three assessment criteria: social, environmental and economic. Tangible and measurable targets must be reached to gain the certification.
