Vitevis lies between the Verona and Vicenza hills, where soils are calcareous, volcanic and morainic, where the vineyards are caressed by the sun and breezes from Lake Garda. The mild climate, sunny exposure and unique terroir characterised by a mix of soil types combine to make this corner of Italy a true winemaking paradise.
The uniqueness of the wine product traits originate not only from the interaction between the environment and human intervention, but also from the relationship between the vine and its microclimate as well as the mineral characteristics of the soil in which it grows (terroir). The terroir, therefore, plays a central role in determining the quality of the raw material it produces, the grapes.
